The rules for using bugclicker.org, an unofficial BUG Clicker fan site: what credits buy, which pictures you may upload, who owns what, and refunds.

By using bugclicker.org you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the pet maker. Reading the guides is free and needs nothing from you.
What this site is
An unofficial fan site with guides for BUG Clicker and a paid AI pet maker. BUG Clicker is made by BUG (@BUGnDEV), who does not run or endorse this site. The download buttons fetch the app from the developer's own GitHub.
Credits and pets
You buy credits once: 10 credits for $4.99 or 30 credits for $9.99. One pet from one picture uses 10 credits. Credits don't expire and can't be exchanged for cash or moved to someone else. A pet that can't be made gives its credits back, as described in the refund policy.
The pets are drawn by AI. They are meant to look like your picture, but they won't match it exactly, and two pets from the same picture won't look the same.
If we change prices later, credits you already bought keep their value: a pet still costs the credits it cost when you bought them.
Your link to your pets
There is no account. Your pets and credits are tied to your browser session and to the link we email after you pay. Anyone with that link can open your pets and use your credits, so don't post it publicly. If it leaks, write to us from the address you paid with.
Pictures you upload
Only upload a picture you have the right to use: your own photo, your own drawing or OC, or art whose owner said yes. Don't upload pictures of real people without their permission, or anything sexual, hateful or violent. We may refuse to make a pet, or stop a pet from being made, when a picture breaks these rules.
Who owns what
Your picture stays yours. You may use the pet made from it for yourself, share it as a .cvclk file, or put it on a stream. If your picture is someone else's character, their rules about fan art still apply to the pet.
BUG Clicker, its name and its file format belong to its developer. The guides on this site are ours; you're welcome to link to them or quote a few lines with a link back.
Downloading and keeping your files
The .cvclk and PSD files are made in your browser and saved to your computer. Keep a copy: if you delete them, download them again from your pets page while it's still available. We can't restore files from your computer.
When something breaks
The pet maker depends on an AI image service and on Stripe. If one of them is down, a pet may fail or take longer. A pet that fails gives its credits back automatically. We may pause the maker for maintenance; the guides stay up.
Refunds
See the refund policy: free redraws, credits back when a pet fails, and money back within 7 days in the cases listed there.
Limits
The site and the pet maker are provided as they are. We aren't responsible for how the BUG Clicker app behaves, for changes the developer makes to it, or for losses beyond what you paid us.
Changes
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date at the top changes when we do, and the new terms apply from then on. Credits bought before a change keep the rules they were bought under.
