BUG Clicker Download for Windows and Mac (Official Links)

BUG Clicker is a free desktop pet app by BUG (@BUGnDEV). The buttons fetch the newest version straight from the developer's GitHub. This site is an unofficial guide and doesn't host any files.

Install on Windows

1. Put BUG-Clicker.exe in a folder of its own, for example Documents\BUG Clicker. There's no installer: the exe runs as it is.
2. Double-click it. If a blue "Windows protected your PC" box appears, click More info, then Run anyway. The app isn't code-signed yet, so Windows warns about it even though nothing harmful was found.
3. Your characters are saved in a "BUG Clicker 데이터" folder next to the exe ("데이터" is Korean for "data").

Install on Mac

Open the dmg and drag BUG Clicker into Applications. The first time, macOS says it can't verify the developer; the Mac guide shows what to click.

After installing

• Updates download by themselves. To check by hand, open Settings → About → Update.
• New PC? Copy the exe and the "BUG Clicker 데이터" folder together, or the app starts without your characters.

Not the same "Bug Clicker"

The Bugs Clicker insect-tapping game on phones, bug-bite clicker pens and a game jam called Bug Clicker on itch.io have nothing to do with the desktop pet. Download it only from github.com/BUG-INVADE, not from re-uploads on file-sharing sites or Discord.
